I am taking another month to be simple with recipes, because this month we are all about celebrating everyone’s unique identity and story… so I am bringing you a rainbow veggie board. Eating lots of veggies during your cycle can help you feel more energized, and can help reduce cramping. Veggies are a great source of fiber- which can help keep you regular, something that is great for your health all around.
I love how this happy little plate of veggies can bring joy to any table, picnic, or gathering. And also… I happen to love ranch and couldn’t help myself from snagging some bites during the shoot.
I’ve recently adopted a new motto for myself “have charcuterie, will travel” – and I am leaning into some really wonderful female friendships that I have cultivated in the last year, as well as some amazing business connections that have grown recently. I can’t tell you how excited I am to be able to hug friends and have gatherings now that I am fully vaccinated. Rainbow boards are definitely here to stay, even after the month of June.
I read a great comic-style book about they/them pronouns recently, and have been taking time to research some great organizations and shop small businesses that support LGBTQIA+ folks. I’m an ally, trying my best to do my part. I’m here raising a glass to all our subscribers. Thank you for your continued support and thank you for being YOU!
